NEWLY FEATURED BROWN MILL MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL 7 2ND STREET SW The City of Concord, in partnership with Tarheel Trailblazers now host a 36-acre, 4.25-mile set of singletrack mountain bike trails just minutes from Downtown Concord. Prior to the Grand Opening, September 2, 2021 the Tarheel Trailblazers managed over 1,100 volunteer hours of manual and machine trail blazing. Students from local high schools National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) clubs joined in the efforts, and will now call these trails home for local training. Who are the trails for? Mountain bikers of all levels, hikers and trail runners are welcome! What is on the trail? Expect altering terrain – dirt and gravel track, dips, berms, jumps, switchbacks, a gravity cavity, and large rock formations.
