with Coquitlam’s Outdoor Recreation Programs

New programs will be added throughout the season, including mountain biking camps, opportunities to learn to fish, hiking presentations and meetups, all-day summer camps, Baby-and-Me hikes, Eco Trekker programs for early years children, and more.

Learn-to Camp: Family Overnight (All Ages)

Join the Parks Canada team July 29th and 30th for a Learn-to Camp overnight experience in beautiful Blue Mountain Park. The team will introduce you and your family to topics such as how to prepare for a camping trip, wildlife safety, how to set up a campsite, cooking in the outdoors and other fun games and activities. This will be followed with a true overnight camp experience. Tents will be provided (up to 6 people max per tent from one household), families are responsible for sleeping gear and food. Information packages will be sent to prepare participants. In partnership with parks Canada.
