Beginning Potter’s Wheel

Join our ceramics community and learn the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel. The basics are taught and reinforced to demystify the challenges of the wheel. Skills will be introduced with plenty of individual attention in this small class setting. Bonus! Students enrolled in this course will receive complimentary access to Open Studio hours for the duration of the class session. We recommend bringing your own ceramic tools, or purchasing them for a $20 Materials Fee, and bringing an apron, towel, or wearing clothing that can get muddy. Ceramics Center at Wilson Park Codes

Come learn Ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arrangement, by using seasonal material and following Sogetsu school curriculum to create your Ikebana expressions. All levels of experience are welcome. For beginners, please bring Ikebana scissors or pruners, a pin frog or flower holder, and a shallow vase to the first class.
