RECREATION CENTER 1146 Castle Drive

Located on Castle Drive just a half mile east of Highway 78/ Lavon Drive, Bradfield Park is a large community park that boasts recreational opportunities for all ages including sports tournaments, a large pool, a recreation center, a sports complex with baseball, football and a nice playground for kids. Bradfield park spans more than 46 acres in a long, linear space for the community to spread out and enjoy their visit to the park.

14 loops

and more than 16

miles of trails.

Rowlett Creek Preserve trail is a stacked loop, singletrack system of more than 16 miles of trail. The trail difficulty ranges from beginner to advanced in difficulty. The trail system consists of 14 stacked loops with a unique numbering system. The loops are numbered 1 through 14, designations which indicate the order in which the loops were built, not the order in which you can — or should — ride them. In general, as the loop number increases, so does the level of difficulty. The trailhead for loops 1 and 7 through 14 is found on the north side of the parking lot. The trailhead for loops 2 through 6 is found to the east of the parking lot, past the picnic tables. Once you find the trailhead for loop 2, the trail immediately takes you south. The direction for all loops is clockwise for bikers while hikers are asked to use the trail counterclockwise. Much of the trail is wooded with portions that are somewhat tight and twisty. There are some open field sections with some fast, flowy trail riding. The majority of the trail is relatively flat with punchy, rooty climbs here and there. The hardest climb is found on loop 7.
