The Golden Visitors & Information Center is a hub for the Golden community, providing information, services, programs, and activities that benefit the community, its residents, visitors, businesses and organizations.

We are a thoughtful, dedicated advocate for Golden residents in building and maintaining a strong sense of community. Our wonderful volunteers give their time weekly to be sure the Center offers a safe and comfortable, centrally located place to gather, and to learn about all that Golden has to offer. We serve as the information resource on all things Golden for visitors, residents, and businesses and provide select services, programs, and retail offerings to Golden residents. We also partner with local businesses and organizations to create/host special activities/projects that benefit the community. It is our honor to serve as a desired location for nonprofits to meet and collaborate and we offer spaces for meetings, events, and celebrations.

Golden’s Washington Avenue says it perfectly, “Howdy Folks, Welcome to Golden!” As a relative newcomer, I can attest firsthand to the city’s friendly spirit. In my short time as Golden’s City Manager, my family and I have been overwhelmed by the kindness of Golden citizens, the variety of activities and the beauty of the area. We’ve only just begun exploring all Golden has to offer, but we have enjoyed rich cultural activities including museums, art galleries and local theater, fun community events throughout the year, an abundance of outdoor recreation and delicious dining.
