We cannot thank our residents enough for your ongoing patience and understanding through the Super Bloom and the Railroad Canyon Road Widening Project. This year’s Super Bloom was unlike anything any of us have ever experienced – and we’re proud of everyone’s efforts to accommodate the unprecedented number of visitors flowing in to enjoy our community and its natural beauty—thank you! Although the 2019 Super Bloom has officially come to an end, it has provided an opportune moment to reflect on our community’s service needs and priorities. In previous community engagements, we found residents value maintaining and improving current City services, including making improvements to Lake Elsinore’s water quality, beaches, and recreational amenities. We also know residents are interested in maintaining public safety services, keeping the City clean, attracting new employers and higher education opportunities, and increasing the availability of health and medical services locally. We will continue to keep these as priorities for our ongoing planning and future years of peak tourism seasons. Over the coming months, we will be undertaking additional efforts to engage with you—our residents - for feedback on City services, community needs and priorities. We welcome your perspectives and look forward to keeping you informed. In the meantime, please check our website at www.lake-elsinore. org for community updates and sign-up for e-Notifications to stay informed. You can also follow us online at www.facebook.com/ CityofLakeElsinore, www.facebook.com/LEExtremeRecreation or on Instagram @CityofLakeElsinore. Have a happy Spring, and a safe and wonderful Summer! Sincerely, Grant Yates City Manager 2
