Lathrop Parks and Recreation Cancelation / Refund Policy PROGRAM / ACTIVITY • A full refund will be issued for any program or activity that is cancelled for any reason by the Department. • Request for a full refund must be made 48 hours prior to start of the PROGRAM / ACTIVITY. • Any person who registers for a PROGRAM / ACTIVITY and who requests a refund before the second class session may receive a prorated refund minus a $ 5.00 service charge. • ADULT SPORTS LEAGUES may receive a partial refund if the cancellation notice is received two weeks prior to the league starting and if a replacement team is found.

FACILITY / PICNIC AREA / SPORT FIELD RENTALS • All cancellations must be submitted in writing including the signature of the person appearing on the rental application, the event date, facility reserved, and the date of the cancellation request. • FACILITY Reservations in excess of six months in advance of the scheduled date shall receive a 75% refund, for reservations that are canceled within sixty-one (61) to 180 days in advance shall receive a 50% refund, and reservations less than sixty (60) days shall receive no refund. • Fees will not be refunded for PICNIC AREA times not used or in periods of undesirable weather. If inclement weather is to occur, it is at the desecration of the City to cancel all permitted reservations. • Any person who reserves a SPORT FIELD must provide 30 days advance notice of a cancellation to be entitled to a full refund. We are gearing up to enjoy one more BBQ with family and friends. We will have food vendors, live entertainment, a carnival, and our Inaugural Rain Gutter Regatta! Lathrop Generations Center Fall Information The Teen Center This is the place for teens to be in Lathrop. The center hosts a lounge with gaming systems, a pool table, ping pong and café. Drop by for open mic night, music videos, tournaments, movies, art programs, karaoke, or just to hang out. Membership is free so sign up today! Before and After School Kid Club Joseph Widmer, Mossdale, and Lathrop Community Center* The Kid Club program offers students Kindergarten through Eighth Grade an exciting recreation and enrichment experience. Participants will have opportunity to engage in structured outdoor activities, crafts, games, homework help, and more. The fees listed below reflect a monthly billing fee. Parents have the option to choose 2 days, 3 days, 4 or 5 day a week monthly plans. Our above ground street-plaza skate park located at 7th St. is 3,000 sq. ft. with ramps, boxes and street elements. Both parks are open to the public from dawn until dusk. All safety rules and general park rules must be followed.

Country Breakfast | $5 per Person Every 1st Friday of the month, the Senior Center offers a delicious country breakfast for seniors age 50 and over. Come join us for coffee, orange juice and a country breakfast for only $5. Menu changes every month. DAY: Friday September 2, October 7, November 4, December 2 FREQUENCY: Once a month TIME: 9:00am Senior Lunch Program | $2 donation per person Nutritious lunch is served daily for seniors 60 and over. You must sign up at least 24 hours in advance by coming in or calling the senior center by noon at (209) 941-7380. A calendar with the menu for the month is available at the senior center. DAY: Monday–Friday TIME: 11:30am Senior Brown Bag | $12 per person/per year Brown Bag is a food distribution program for seniors 60 years and older. There are some income restrictions. Seniors Stride & Stroll | Free Join us on a stroll around Valverde Park. We want to encourage everyone to stay healthy and keep moving. Our motto is “Doing something is better than nothing”. Simple but effective stretches are done before the walk, then the group will take a nice stroll around the park and enjoy each other’s company. This exercise will be led by Patty Bennett.
