Modern Mystics is a ‘Sonic Trilogy’ – three linked concerts performed by City of London Sinfonia exploring belief, faith and – above all – our common human experience.
Each concert transforms a unique London venue into a theatre for sound. We begin in the ancient setting of Southwark Cathedral, then travel East to Village Underground before heading to the heart of Westminster at St John’s Smith Square. With lighting, electroacoustic recordings, projections, visuals and living programme notes we provide a truly immersive, thought provoking experience.
