This is a great time of year to work on a part of your game that most golfers forget about in the winter months. I talk about keeping your swing together and finding that extra ten yards over the winter, but when it comes down to score, putting is everything. Over the winter months in my basement, I roll putts almost every night. I lay down two clubs just outside the size of my putter head to make sure I make that straight back and straight through stroke. If I can keep that putter face square as I stroke the ball, I know the ball will roll true. I will putt with my two sons and really make a family night of putting golf balls. We all try to not hit the side of the clubs on the floor as we putt. Distance is not a big factor in the winter on the carpet; we are working on the putting stroke. Try this and when springs rolls around, you will be making more putts than your golfing buddies! Good luck!
Swing Into: Yoga Join us for yoga stretches, postures, and breathing techniques specifically geared toward golfers. Help reduce stress prior to and during play. The physical and mental aspects of golf are explored to reveal unconscious body tension and perceived limitations. The result is more fluid movements and a more focused mind. Time 6:30-7:30P
