CLOUD COUNTY COACHING STAFF
Cloud county community college
Cloud softball has consistently had high performers in the classroom as well. In 2016, Acree’s team produced five NJCAA Academic All-Americans. Madi Bryant is in her second season as Assistant Coach for the Cloud County Community College softball team. Bryant, a former catcher and outfielder for the T-Birds during her playing days, comes to Cloud after spending two seasons as an assistant high school coach at Thomas More Prep-Marian in Hays, Kansas. Bryant played softball at Cloud County from 2012-2014. During her career, Bryant and starting pitcher Kelsey Jones were nationally ranked as a catcher-pitcher duo by the NJCAA. Prior to becoming a T-Bird, Bryant was a four-year AllLeague selection in the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League, and earned Second-Team All-State honors her sophomore season. As an assistant, Bryant primarily instructs the outfield. “I loved Cloud when I played here and when coach Acree called me and asked me to be his assistant I said, ‘Of course. I love Concordia,’” Bryant said. “I love this school and I like the way (Acree) coaches. It is a perfect fit.”
