8. tranSPort Disabled parking permits enable holders to park in any metered or limited time space of 15 minutes or more for 90 minutes longer than the time usually allowed for that space. The medical professional may also recommend a practical driving test. People 85 years and older will need to undertake a practical driving test each year to retain their licence. To help with decisions associated with surrendering your licence, a kit called Moving Right Along – Obligation and Opportunities for Older Drivers is available for loan through our libraries.
