NEW, RENOVATED OR EXPANDED PARKS

Teglia’s Paradise Park: Two new mini-pitch futsal courts have been installed in the southeast parking lot. The color coating and striping will be completed in October. Dick Taylor Park: The crumbling sidewalks have been replaced and the old playground has been removed. This will make room for a few new playground amenities coming in the Spring of 2022.

PARK RENOVATIONS

Robinhood Park: Many park amenities will be replaced and upgraded, including the basketball courts, playground, and picnic area. This project is currently in the design phase, and construction is expected in the spring of 2022.

Mayor’s Park and Dorothy

McAlinden Park: Upgrades in 2022, and is currently in the design phase as well. Possible upgrades to these parks include a new playground, grass flat fields, dog park, and landscaping.

Each shelter can accommodate 50-200 people and comes with picnic tables and a barbecue. Please note that these amenities are not reserved as part of a picnic shelter permit. Park amenities are normally open to the public at large.
