Goal: Contribute to the success of the community’s business parks

The Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation is in the preliminary stage of negotiating a contract with Scannell to develop a new business park off of Springdale Road.


Goal: Provide for a coordinated transportation system that supports the City’s growth goals

City staff spent the month of February working on the County Fund (C-Fund) and General Fund (G-Fund) paving lists. These lists determine which roads will be paved this spring and summer. Bids are being accepted through the end of March.

Goal: Support the study and development of key city corridors

Planning staff continue to make progress on the next key corridor study. Stakeholder meetings have been held with neighborhood representatives and business owners in the Albright/Saluda Road corridor. Feedback from these meetings will be incorporated into a public meeting on April 12th to get further community input.
