A SPECIAL LOOK AT
YELLOW JACKET PARK
A park speciďŹ cally designed to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to go outside and play.
The Rockwall Parks & Recreation Department has built a lot of parks, but Yellow Jacket Park had a very specific purpose in mind... To build a park that would highlight safety and enable access to all playground features for everyone, especially residents confined to a wheelchair. The playground features in the park offer therapy and fun to kids with or w/o disabilities. This opportunity for an environment of inclusion was very warmly received by the parents of children with disabilities, and has quickly grown to be one of Rockwall’s more extensively visited playgrounds. Yellow Jacket Park is located at 955 West Yellow Jacket Lane, Rockwall, Tx and is open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm everyday. For more information please call 972-771-7761.
