ABOUT THE ROCKWALL BASEBALL & SOFTBALL LEAGUE Welcome to the RBSL (Rockwall Baseball & Softball League). We strive to provide a high quality environment for young athletes to learn and play the game of baseball/softball. The RBSL operates a Spring, Summer, and Fall season. Our league is designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. The RBSL offers T-ball from 4U-6U as well as Select and Draft Divisions for 6U to 14U. SELECT DIVISION In this division Teams “Select” their players and bring already formed teams into the league. If you are interested in playing on a select team check our “TEAM & PLAYER MARKET PLACE” page for contact information and tryout details for teams looking for players. Coaches if you would like to put your team information on this page please send it to dwilson@rockwall.com. DRAFT DIVISION In this division RBSL administration will use a “Tryout and Draft” process or “Blind Draft” process (depending on season) to place players on teams. During the registration process you will fill out a questionnaire. An RBSL administrator will use these answers to place your athlete on a team. You will also be given the opportunity to request to play with a specific friend, coach, and/or team. RBSL administration will do their best to meet these requests. Note: Based on final registration RBSL reserves the right to combine divisions, move teams, change schedules, and make any other necessary changes.
