The City of Santee Teen Center is an after-school and summer break drop-in recreation program designed for pre-teens and teens in grades 6-9. Leadership and volunteer programs are available at the Teen Center for teens in grades 10-12, up to age 17.

Daily Activities Teen Center daily programming consists of a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation activities. Homework assistance and access to the Cox Communication Tech Center is available on a daily basis. Teens at the center are involved in the programming and are encouraged to help design and implement the daily activities.

Professional Staff The center is staffed by City of Santee employees who are certified in first aid and CPR, have completed specialized teen-oriented training and have passed a Department of Justice background check. Our low staff-to-participant ratio offers a safe, well supervised experience and personal connection with each teen.
