Young Rembrandts
MusicMaker: Let the Journey Begin
Art drawing classes for ages 5-12. Each week the children will create a new drawing. All lessons are planned and we provide the teacher and all supplies. Using ‘dry media’ we teach children how to create art drawings using step by step guides and encourage creativity. Our drawing classes offer child-friendly and relevant subject matters to specific interest and increase knowledge retention. Through the process of weekly instruction, Young Rembrandts students are exposed to a wide variety of subject matter, artistic concepts, art history, and mastery of their materials.
Journey into the world of music making as your child discovers their singing voice while exploring a variety of instruments. Every class is live music making (no recorded music) incorporating music from a variety of cultures. Children are exposed to a variety of tonalities and meters to assist in developing their musical ear at an early age. Basic music theory concepts are also included in each class laying the foundation for a smooth transition into private voice or instrument lessons.
