We could use your thoughts and energy! Please consider assisting with one of our following committees: •Public Relations: Be a Senior Center cheerleader -increase awareness of our services, enhance the image of older adults and promote a positive understanding of aging in the community. •Program: Diverse ideas and assistance are needed to fulfill the needs and interests of the ever-increasing, ever-changing expansive range of generations (55 to 105 year olds) we serve. •Fund Development: identify ways to meet current and future funding needs. -Party-planners, number-crunchers and outside-of-the box thinkers are all welcome to the table. •Volunteer: Our volunteers (meal drivers, kitchen help, instructors, Friendly Visitors, receptionists, etc) are invaluable and the reason why we exist. Help us continue to recruit them, train them and show our appreciation to them, and in the process, be one. •Evaluation: Join in the process of determining how well we are doing all of the above; and help organize the facts and responses to best describe our story to our decision-makers and funders.
Committees’ time commitments range from a couple times a year to once a month. If interested, please contact Cindy at 873-8585.
