Writer and Historian Dennis Jenkyns Tuesday, March 12th 1:00 pm at the Stoughton Area Senior Center

The Four Religions in the Holy Land : Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Bahá'í This presentation provides a brief history, and showcases the holy places of four of the world’s great monotheistic religions each of which has historical connections to the Holy Land. This is a Middle East region that encompasses an astounding array of biblical sites, sacred sites, and pilgrimage destinations. With the earth that has been walked on by Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus, the Apostles, the Prophet Muhammad, and the Prophet of the Bahá'í Faith, Bahá’u’lláh, the Holy Land has been a sought-after destination for pilgrims from ancient times until today. Come in to hear this free and interesting presentation.
