Holiday Mingle Jingle

Date: Tuesday, December 13 Cost: Donation of one new, unwrapped toy per child Location: Curtis Milteer Recreation Center Time: 5:30 – 7:30 PM Come out and enjoy some hot cocoa, games and crafts as we mingle with Saint Nick! The toy to participate will be donated to charity. Register by December 6.

Young Adult Life Prep Workshop

Date: September 24 Cost: Free Ages: 13-18 Location: East Suffolk Recreation Center Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Join us to learn more about leadership skills, financial management, interview and resume tips, and guidance on college and career goals from guest speakers.

Santa’s Pottery Workshop

Date: December 16 Cost: $10 Ages: 7-11 Location: East Suffolk Recreation Center Time: 5:30 - 6:30 PM Children will create a holiday themed pottery craft with a professional pottery instructor.

DIY Terrarium Workshop

Date: November 12 Cost: $20 Ages: 13+ Location: East Suffolk Recreation Center Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Join us for this fun project that will unleash your inner zen by creating mini terrariums.

Teen Cuisine

Dates: September 28 - November 2 Ages: 11-17 Location: East Suffolk Recreation Time: 4:00 - 5:00 PM Join us to learn safe, educational and healthy ways of creating delicious snacks and meals.

Fright Night

Date: October 29 Cost: Free Ages: All Location: Creekside Recreation Center, East Suffolk Recreation Center & Curtis Milteer Sr. Recreation Center Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM If you are looking for a family-friendly Halloween event filled with loads of fun and a few scares, Fright Night is the place to be. We will have candy, candy and more candy, a haunted house ages 10 and up, bounce houses, face painting, fall games and more.

Lunch with Santa

Date: December 3 Cost: Children are free with unwrapped toy; adult $5 Ages: 12 and under Location: Northern Shores Recreation Center Time: 11:00 AM -1:00 PM Children can play games, win fun prizes, and have a free professional photo taken with Santa.
