Taste of Suffolk
Date: September 11 Time: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM + Beer Garden, 5:00 - 8:00 PM Ages: All Cost: Free Location: Main Street Our annual Taste of Suffolk is back in Downtown Suffolk this year! This street festival tradition is filled with specialty food items from local restaurants all over Suffolk, as well as all the goods and services that crafters, vendors, and merchants have to offer. A September 11th 20th Anniversary Memorial Recognition will take place at the Market Street stage at 12:00 Noon. Taste of Suffolk has something for the whole family with a great children’s area and live entertainment. Enjoy contests and games, a beer garden, and a new vehicle exhibition.
Drive-In Movie: The Addams Family
Date: October 16 Time: Park and Play, 5:00 PM; movie starts at 7:00 PM Ages: All Cost: Free Location: Bennett’s Creek Park Come early to get the best parking and enjoy a movie from your car or chair. We will be showing The Addams Family (2019) at this year’s Drive-In. This movie is rated PG and has a running time of 86 minutes. Pets are welcome and must be on a leash. Food vendors will also be available for purchase.
Grand Illumination
Date: November 19 Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Ages: All Cost: Free Location: Market Park at the Suffolk Seaboard Station Railroad Museum Watch the season light up as we flip the switch to illuminate the beautiful tree in Downtown Suffolk. Enjoy crafts, vendors, music, and see Santa at this event! Don’t forget to bring your camera. Parking will be available at the Suffolk Visitor Center with shuttle service.
Festival Of Lights
Dates: November 26 - December 30 Time: 5:30 - 9:30 PM Ages: All Cost: Free Location: Sleepy Hole Park We light up all of Sleepy Hole Park to create a magical experience for the holidays! Celebrate with us by taking a drive through our festive lights!
Holiday Parade
Date: December 11 Time: 7:00 PM Ages: All Cost: Free Location: Downtown Suffolk Join us for the downtown Suffolk Holiday Parade! Your group can walk, ride, dance, march, or float down W. Washington and Main St. This year’s theme is “Home For The Holidays.” Applications are due by November 26.
