BRIEF DESCRIPTION / IDEAL CANDIDATE:

This is a Department Only Promotional Opportunity for employees in permanent, allocated positions in the Fire Department of the City of Vallejo.

Under supervision, Firefighter Engineers are responsible for the operation and driving of fire apparatus; respond to fire alarms and other emergency calls; engage in firefighting and fire prevention activities in protecting life and property; participate in station maintenance and training activities; and do other related work as required.
