I-80 SIX BRIDGES PROJECT UPDATE Head’s up Vallejoans!

As part of the I-80 Six Bridges Project, Caltrans has scheduled a FULL overnight closure of Interstate 80 between Interstate 780 and State Route 37 in Vallejo, on the following days and times: • Wednesday, June 9, 2021 - Westbound • 11:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m. • Thursday, June 10, 2021 - Eastbound • 11:59 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. Detour Routes Motorists traveling westbound on I-80 will need to access I-780 to State Route 29 (Sonoma Boulevard) to Westbound I-80. Motorists traveling eastbound on I-80 will need to take State Route 29 (Sonoma Boulevard) to I-780 to Eastbound I-80. Shuttle Service The 24-hour shuttle service remains available for pedestrians and bicyclists who need to safely cross the Magazine Street Overcrossing. One shuttle stop will be located on each side of the bridge. To utilize the service, call (415) 263-4000. MARE ISLAND DOCK The Mare Island Dock of Bay Festival will be held on September 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This festival will take place by the Mare Island Brewing Co, 850 Nimitz Avenue. Create a memorable experience by exploring the Mare Island waterfront, promenade, and historic coal sheds while listening to 5 headline bands. Enjoy local and international cuisine via licensed food truck vendors, exclusive Mare Island Brewing Co. beers, and have a choice of fine wines from around northern California region. K OF BAY FESTIVAL Ferry service from San Francisco and Sausalito will be provided by Blue and Gold Fleet and will pick up passengers in the morning, drop them at the Mare Island Ferry Terminal (2 blocks from the festival entrance), and then transport them back after the festival concludes. Boarding for San Francisco starts at 10:00 a.m. and ferry leaves at 10:15 a.m. Boarding for Sausalito starts at 10:45 a.m. and ferry leaved at 11:00 a.m. General admission tickets are $75 and VIP tickets are $150.
