Upcoming Virtual Speaker Meetings January 25, 2021 @ 6:30 PM Join the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for their virtual speaker meeting, “In Our Own Voice”, on January 25 at 6:30 p.m. “In Our Own Voice” is an interactive presentation that provides insight into what it’s like to live with mental illness. The presentation is led by two adults living with mental health conditions and includes video and discussion. Audiences are given a safe place to ask questions and gain understanding of an often misunderstood topic.

The construction for this project began October 2018. The project is valued at $14,000,000. JEEP DEALERSHIP - PERMIT BP20-0869 1001 Admiral Callaghan Lane
The former Momentum Jeep Dealership located at 1001 Admiral Callaghan Lane has been restored from the fire damage it occurred. The final inspection was conducted on January 14. The total valuation for this project was $700,000.
PG&E SERVICE CENTER - PERMIT BP20-0545 PG&E’s Service Center Security Fence Improvement project was finaled on January 6. The project consisted of replacing 1,612 linear feet of existing 9’ tall fences and gates and replaced with ten foot tall fences and a manual swing gate. This project was valued at $1,400,000.

Need Sandbags? During the winter, Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District supplies free sand and burlap bags to residents in the greater Vallejo area, and provides instruction in filling and stacking bags. Free sandbags are available at the District’s sandbag station, located at the west end of Ryder Street. The station is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closes at 3:30 on Fridays), from mid-October through mid-April. Sand and bags are free. You may wish to purchase plastic sheeting to put under the sandbags at your home. At the sandbag station, you’ll find instructions on how to fill a sandbag and how to properly build a sandbag wall.
