PSPS - ARE YOU PREPARED? Fire season is upon us, and by now, many of us know that preparation is a key component to our safety. When severe weather, like high winds, poses a threat, Pacific Gas and Electric, (PG&E) proactively turns off power to help prevent wildfire, and keep communities safe. Like the weather, Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events can be unpredictable and complex. PG&E has provided resources to help you understand and prepare for these events. Visit pge.com/psps to view these resources, including: • Updates and alerts • An interactive map to see if you’ll be affected • Suggested emergency kit supplies • Personalized emergency evacuation plan tools • And more Don’t let a PSPS event catch you off guard - prepare in advance so you’re ready - before an outage hits.
