DANNY ”SWEET MAN” THOMAS DAY On Saturday September 25th at Vino Godfather Winery tasting room on Mare Island, Vallejo Mayor Robert McConnell presented a proclamation to Vallejo’s own Mr. Danny Thomas. The Mayor and the Vallejo City Council declared Saturday September 25th 2021, as Danny” Sweet Man” Thomas Day in Vallejo. Mr. Thomas is a founding member of world renowned band Con Funk Shun. Mr. Thomas and Ms. Wanda Peyton his spouse were in Vallejo on a book signing tour for Danny’s book My Life & Fun Times with Con Funk Shun and Wanda’s book, When Girls Cry.
