GLEN COVE WATERFRONT PARK CLEANUP Recent storms have resulted in a tremendous amount of trash along our shoreline. Join the Vallejo Watershed Alliance and other community partners this Saturday, November 6 from 9 a.m. to noon to help restore the beauty of this natural landscape. A representative of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation will be onsite at 9 a.m. to advise on respecting and honoring their tribal lands - so please join early! URBAN SEARCH AND RESCUE The Solano County Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR), which is comprised of firefighters from multiple agencies across the county, executed a sophisticated confined space and high angle training drill at the Mare Island Dry Docks. The county Urban Search and Rescue Team trains quarterly to prepare for rescue scenarios that may arise from emergencies such as earthquakes and industrial accidents.
