2021 EARTHQUAKE BRACE + BOLT (EBB) PROGRAM Registration for the 2021 Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program has been extended. Homeowners in EBB ZIP Codes can register now through Thursday, December 9, 2021. EBB helps homeowners lessen the potential for damage during an earthquake by offering $3,000 toward a seismic retrofit for houses that qualify.  This year, EBB is also offering an additional Supplemental Grant (SG) to income-eligible homeowners. If your household annual income is $72,080 or less, you may qualify for a SG that could pay for up to 100 percent of your seismic retrofit. SG funds are limited. If your house has not previously received a qualifying retrofit and meets, EBB Program requirements, register now before it’s too late.  For more information about the EBB program and to register go to EarthquakeBraceBolt.com. Consider taking steps today to protect your family and your house. Registration is open now through December 9 at midnight. If you have questions or need assistance at anytime in the process, we’re here to help. Call 877-232-4300 or email info@EarthquakeBraceBolt.com. 3

SANTA LOVES SENIORS COVID-19 has isolated and stolen a few smiles from local seniors, but the holiday season is fast approaching, and Love Is… is ready to put the smiles back on with your help. Join Love Is… in their 5th year of Santa Loves Seniors by becoming an elf. Let’s remind them that they are still a part of the community. There are so many ways to help: gift elves can pick seniors and sponsor items off their wishlist, wrapping elves can join the Love Is... team in their annual wrapping party, delivery and singing elves have the opportunity to join the team in spreading the joy of Christmas in person, craft elves can make special cards, placemats, ornaments, or anything crafty to add to the senior’s gifts, and cookie elves can donate individually packed storebought sweets to deliver along with their gifts. To keep the community and seniors safe and healthy, those interested in being a wrapping elf or delivery/singing elf must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours of arriving. For more information, click here. To sign up to be an elf, click here.
