VALLEJO SYMPHONY ANNOUNCES 2022 SEASON Vallejo Symphony announced their 89th season. It includes three full orchestra concerts, each with two performances, Saturday and Sunday. There will be a special orchestra performance for students after the second concert set in April. All orchestra performances will take place at the Empress Theatre, 330 Virginia Street. The first concert, “Fate”, will perform on Saturday, January 29 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, January 30 at 3:00 PM. The second concert, “Pastoral”, will perform on Saturday, April 23 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, April 24 at 3:00 PM. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.

SOLTRANS PARTNERS WITH TRANSIT Solano County Transit (SolTrans) announces its partnership with Transit as its official mobility app to provide a seamless, all-in-one app experience for users across the Bay Area. SolTrans customers have access to one easy-to-use app for trip planning, real-time tracking, multimodal connections, and fare payment. Riders can purchase tickets in the Transit app by using the “Buy Ticket” button at the bottom of the home screen. Users can create a Transit Account and enter their credit card information to purchase a ticket. When boarding, riders display the activated pass to their driver for visual validation. “We want to make riding public transit as simple and stressfree as possible.” said David Block-Schachter, Chief Business Officer at Transit. “SolTrans passengers already rely on Transit to plan their next trip and track their ride in real-time. Adding the ability to buy transit fares gives riders everything they need in one official app.” Upon launching the app, SolTrans riders see nearby options and departure times in large text and bright colors. Users can easily navigate the region, aided by accurate real-time ETAs, trip planning, step-by-step navigation, and crowdsourced realtime information with Transit’s GO feature. WINTERFEST 707 Join TBG Productions at the Solano Fairgrounds on December 18 and 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Winterfest 707. Get some last minute holiday shopping done with one of a kind gifts while supporting small businesses in “Santa’s Village”. Take Christmas photos with Santa while listening to DJ Jack Nas as the Grinch who DJ’s Xmas. Donations will be accepted for Toys for Tots and canned food donations for Faith Food Fridays. This is a free event to attend, however, if you RSVP here, you will be entered into a raffle for a $100 shopping spree. Activities for children cost an additional $25, but this will give children full access to all activities.
