HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE CITY OF VALLEJO! We know how exciting it is to celebrate 2022, especially after these last couple of years, but we want our community to celebrate safely! This is a reminder that ALL fireworks are illegal in Vallejo. This includes large bottle rockets, roman candles, firecrackers, AND sparklers. Sparklers can reach over 1,000 °F and account for most fireworksrelated injuries to children five and under. Fireworks are dangerous and have caused many fires, costly property damage, and severe injury. They’re also scary for our pets and wildlife, and cause many to escape and run away. They’re also toxic pollutants to our air and water. You can report fireworks, and learn more, at cityofvallejo.net/reportfireworks. ALWAYS call 911 for immediate, in-progress threats to life and/or property. We wish you a safe and happy New Year!
