NEWS & NOTES Happy New Year! We first wanted to thank you for all the support at this year’s Snowflake Castle. Through the 7 days and 13 shifts more than 2600 children built wooden toys and visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Additionally, this project raised more than $15,000.00 for the Westerville Senior Association and City of Westerville. Welcome new Senior Association board member Clem Willis. You may have seen Clem shooting pool or shooting images with his camera. We’re excited to have him join the team. Clem is taking Jack Shinnock’s seat. Jack is leaving the board after 9 years of service and leadership. Please don’t forget that fitness classes are no longer drop-in classes. Beginning in March, you’ll notice we’ve made some adjustments to the length of registration for each class to meet our member’s needs. In January you may turn in any unused punches on your yellow fitness punch card. Mary will be taking a leave of absence beginning in February to help Uncle Sam collect taxes. In the mean time, the team will be taking over kitchen duties. Chelsea will be on maternity leave for 12 weeks beginning when Teagan arrives. The Senior Center Garage Sale will be held April 28 & 29. Think of us when you’re spring cleaning. We’ll begin accepting donations March 1.
