Sustainability is serious business in this community. Whether offered through curbside collection, drop-off or through online sign-ups, residents have responded in droves to opportunities to make better use of their waste. Here’s a high-level look at the impact of resident participation in the City’s sustainable programs:

Curbside Recycling - 3,144 tons

Composting - 182,745 lbs

Lightbulbs - 3,729 lbs

Holiday Lights - 15,500 lbs

Scrap Metal & Other Recyclables - 321,579 lbs

Batteries - 12,757 lbs

Curbside Yard Waste - 3,482 lbs

All numbers represent program totals as of February 2022, unless otherwise noted. *The City recycles metals on a department level, currently there is no residential scrap metal program.
