Shadowbox CEO finds ways to engage creatively By Brandon Klein
WHEN A HEARING-IMPARED patron asked
Shadowbox Live for interpreting services, the theater responded immediately by hiring services to complement its live performances. But for Stacie Boord, this wasn’t enough. “They did a fine job, but I was thinking it could be so much better if I can just get my hands on them,” says the founding member and, now, CEO of Shadowbox. “They could be so much more engaging and we can make a part of the production.” This led to a partnership with Columbus State Community College.
