Education – Preparing for the Future
Preparing for the Future Education
Residents of Pickaway County place a high value on education. Home to several school districts, vocational schools and one university, the area offers many options for those who wish to pursue and continue their education.
Circleville City Schools rest on a campus that houses the elementary school, middle school and high school. There are more than 2,000 students in grades Pre-K-12. The schools are divided into three districts: Logan Elm District services the eastern and southern county areas, Teays Valley District serves the northern section, and Westfall District that serves the western portion of the county.
A number of preschools and private schools are scattered throughout the county, including New Hope Christian Academy, that provides K-12 education. Additionally, two vocational schools, Pickaway-Ross Joint Vocational and Eastland Joint Vocational School, serve students as they get ready for the workforce.
Higher Education Pickaway County is home to the main campus of Ohio Christian University, with a heritage dating back to 1948.
