INTERVIEW
ry a count is E A I The U and safety. s ce of pea Al ah protect at pray th s rulers. it
Do you like traveling & tourism by nature? Travelling is more like a book of knowledge, which opens windows on civilization, history and beauty for me, I love tourism and cities which have a whiff of history and originality, and modern places as well, traveling is a necessity for me, I travel from time to time for recreation and rest, knowing that, the artist’s life is based on Travel
Tell us about the first house and the first city that have an special influence on you, about Morocco’s particularity and originality. It is a second to none experience to belong to a homeland which extends along the sea and the ocean, and rich with its mountains, rivers, valleys, cultural, musical and cognitive diversity, as well as diversity of fashion and cultures. Morocco has the most beautiful cities and I honestly did not visit all of it, but I have been to the most of it such as Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier and Tetouan. I am the daughter of Rabat, I belong to it and to Morocco, where my comfort is as it is my city and where I have studied, grown up and
explored life, there is my first home where I imbued singing, proverbs, languages, the compassionate bosom of my mother, my grandmother, my father and my neighbors and the intimacy and privacy of relationships which I always miss.
places in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Islands and reserves too, along with fantastic hotels, everything here is like a dream, and, of course, I love winter in Morocco where I run in the rain and snow, the winter there has a taste of love and singing.
Travel is a book, Tell us about the most important cities which had an outstanding influence on you and why?
What are the qualities of your dream man?
Rabat comes first, then Dubai, and other cities. Frankly, there is a country which I love too, but never been there yet and I hope to visit, It is Italy, one of the countries which have the culture and history, and there are many European and Arab cities as well. What aplenty of beauty the cities have, and how lovely it is to see the love of singing in the eyes of the audience!
During your work travels, do you dedicate some time to recreation? Frankly speaking, this depends on the country I visit, I, by nature, focus too much on my work, but when I visit Morocco, I spend some time for recreation, although I love and enjoy staying home.
Why did you choose to live in the UAE? And what do you say about Dubai? Actually the UAE has chosen me ... “she laughs”, by the virtue of my job and my employment contract, which was signed with “Platinum Records” company. Of course, it is a dream for many people to live in the UAE, which I consider my second home, here my expertise has evolved and my experience has matured, here is where I learned to rely on myself to never feel homesick and my family visit me regularly. It is a country of safety and peace. I pray that Allah protects its Rulers.
The weather in the UAE is quite nice, so where do you spend your time? I am “homebody” by nature. I spend most of my time at home lying down and watching TV, winter here is very nice and there are many
A Loving, affectionate man who fears Allah and of course he has to respect my art and my job nature. The most important quality is the confidence which contributes to the continuity of the relationship. What about your recent artistic works? I have just finished recording a duet with the singer Abdul Fattah Al Jerini, a song called “Zaalima” which is taken from the new Indian film “Raees”, starring the Bollywood artist Shah Rukh Khan. This is my first experience with Al Jerini, which has previously re-sang the “Jabra fan” song in the Moroccan dialect, which won the admiration of the Moroccan, Arab and even the Indian audience.
Your new song “Laeb Eyal” has exceeded 3 million views in a few days, what does this mean to you? I am very happy with the success of my new song as this is an evidence of people’s love who are always waiting for the new. All this gives me more confidence and challenge to provide all which is unparalleled, this success is the fruit of hard work with a great team, all this must be crowned with success and not go in vain. In this song, I tried to live a new experience with the Iraqi dialect.
Why did you renew your cooperation with the talented Moroccan director Amir Al Rawanni, with whom you witnessed the success of your song, “Blach Blach”? Al Rawanni is my compatriot, with whom I have achieved a great success. I liked his way of directorial vision for the Clips, being able to show my character. He is a true artist with a special vision, that is why I wanted to work with him in my new album, and this song is one of the songs of the album, whose melody is characterized by joy, and youthfulness, which completely harmonizes with my soul and vision.
always emphasizes luck, or the stroke of luck, and on the other hand, it emphasizes work and success, in order to make the picture better, Hence I believe in luck, how lucky I was with my choices, especially because I am too picky, especially when there are a plenty of choices and performances in the music industry in front of me, when I hear a song I can imagine how it will be recorded and how it will be shot, and eventually, I choose what my heart loves, and what matches my taste, I think that the most important thing is to set a goal, knowing that nothing can be achieved easily.
The song “Blach” which has exceeded 100 million views, what does that mean to you? And has YouTube become a source of livelihood and success for you? I have a great pleasure that my followers reached this fantastic number, as it is a real indicator for success and the audience taste as well, it is wonderful and beautiful, others are chanting my songs or listening to them in their way, or their settings, what I want more than this! The most beautiful is not the big number, but when you see people chanting these songs all over the world. The public loved the character of “the cute girl”, colors and Fantasia in the clip.
Your video clips are obviously rich in your beautiful and vital countenance, Fantasia, fun, joy and a plenty of cheerful colors, why choose this side? Frankly, this is who I am ... I chose what represents me, and the director was able to show me in a way which gave me satisfaction and happiness, and therefore people loved me because they have touched the honesty in what I offer.
How do you deal with social Media? And how much does it take from your time and interests? I spend most of my time on social Media, which has become very important, particularly for the artist’s life success, but it is necessary to maintain some privacy, I personally do not care about criticisms, especially from those who intentionally insult me as a kind of provocation, or jealousy, but I do accept the constructive criticism, which motivates me to improve and diverse what I offer.
What do you say about the issue of your compatriot, Saad Lamjarred? Saad is a great person, and we are confident that he is well-bred, and he will be back to his art and audience soon, God Willing.
Do you believe in luck, and to what extent did luck play a role in your success? The popular culture on which I grew up,

The hotel is designed to be a meeting place for culture fans & a perfect destination for social How do you evaluate the current evolution in the world of hospitality and hotel industry in the UAE? I believe that the core of hospitality consists of two parts, quality of service and value for money. The evolution of the industry is ongoing but these two factors must be the mantra of any property to ensure customers get the full experience, which then eventually translate into client loyalty.
How does the hotel prepare for vacations and tourism events to provide special offers for families in the UAE and the GCC countries? We plan well in advance! POPULAR TRADITIONAL SPORT In 2005, Abu Dhabi produced the world’s first test-tube purebred camel. The oil-rich emirate, one of seven making up the UAE, also began using remote-controlled robot riders in its camel races that year. Camel racing is an extremely popular traditional sport in the UAE, where people spend millions on acquiring the fastest animals. The Sultan bin Zayed festival is one of the few remaining events at which human jockeys ride camels in races, rather than remote-controlled robot riders.

CELEBRITY TOURISM What are the international destinations in which you like to spend the recreation and tourism time?
but it’s my second country, in which I recall my best memories; part of my family is in Egypt and I have many friends there.
I always look for new destinations which I have never visited. I prefer the areas undiscovered yet by Gulf and Arab visitors, but I don’t prefer the famous international destinations visited by the vast majority of Arab tourists. I love discovering new and yet distinctive tourist places.
What are the regions that attract you and in which you feel more comfortable in UAE?
What are the most important places you look for?

he adopts a special tourism and travelling philosophy. The longest trip she makes does not exceed one week. She prefers to allocate a week for travelling and refreshment every two months. Moreover, she considers travelling as a reward for herself after finishing the filming of any program. Alnaqbi loves to discover tourist destinations and always looks for an area she hasn’t visited and undiscovered yet by Gulf and Arab tourists. She prefers the European rural areas and
the regions that stick to authenticity, historic traditions and tranquility, away from the congestions at the major tourist cities frequented by everyone. At the professional level, she prepares for season 2 of her program ‘Abu Dhabi Gourmet’ on Abu Dhabi TV. It is a distinguished cultural tourism program. I like Khor Fakkan and I don’t consider it as a tourist destination more than as a place in which I mentally relax myself and find myself. That is due to that I was born and grew up there and part of my family lives there. When I need to return to my nature, known to my family, I travel to Khor Fakkan.
I can’t stay away from UAE more than Being a media figure, how do you see UAE I generally prefer the European rural arwith regard to tourism? eas as I feel the beauty of nature and a single week and I always miss it Currently, UAE is simplicity there. Such areas are the best an international for relaxation and recreation away from the congestions of the tourist areas. I have recently visited country. This entails that the regions with high-rise buildings don’t attract you?
In the UAE, we have great urban development; we have the tallest tower in the world as well as global business centers. So, I look for change and new areas.
How many trips can you make each year? By nature, I like travelling. I travel almost each month or two. My travel philosophy, however, is different from that of many others as the longest trip I make is no more than one week long due to my work for that, first, I can’t stay away from UAE more than a single week and I always miss it; second, if I have a vacation for a month or more, I’d like to distribute it throughout the year. Instead of spending all of the vacation in a single trip, I distribute it throughout the whole year so as to provide reinvigoration throughout the year.
This follows the completion of the work; what about the business trips? How do you spend them? It is no secret that the most beautiful trips in my whole life are those related to work, where I can enjoy my time during business trips, and most importantly, getting closely acquainted with the people I’m working with. I enjoy travelling and its joyfulness when I feel that I’m performing my job duties. Most beautifully, I reward myself with Strolling and enjoying my time, after finishing the work of each day, with mixed feelings.
Which Arab countries do you like travelling to? What do you like in them? The first and most important Arab destination for me is Egypt, the mother of the world. I’m half Egyptian, my mother is Egyptian; so, Egypt is not only a country to which I travel for tourism,
How do you see the current tourism position in Abu Dhabi? Abu Dhabi has a special charm. It has many international tourist destinations that competes the oldest ones. We have Zaya Nurai Island that outweighs the Maldives and gives the same, and more, feeling of joy. Internal tourism, in general, has become very important, especially in winter. Most beautifully, when we, currently, need to book a hotel, we are often answered that there are no vacant rooms; this indicates the position of tourism in UAE.
Now, we come to the presenter Asmahan Alnaqbi, what is your work schedule for 2017? In the past month, a new season of ‘Sabah Aldar’ program, in which I’m a co-presenter, started. In addition, I’m preparing for season 2 of my program ‘Abu Dhabi Gourmet’, which would be developed and renewed compared to season 1, as we have applied the comments and suggestions of the audience on the social networking sites. 2017 فبراير
