The Digital Leaders 100 list 2019 is our seventh celebration of those at the forefront of digital transformation.
Tonight comes during Digital Leaders Week, when our community of over 100,000 leaders are taking part in 250 events with 15,000 free places to choose from.
We know that embracing technology is the key to unlocking the UK’s productivity problem and represents the opportunity to create a digital nation of significance. Digital Leaders Week going forward can play a big part in this.
This year we are launching the new DL Cities programme, with our 10 Smart Cities developing projects that will engage a wide community of Digital Leaders. We have chosen “Smart City of the Year” for 2019. I wish our ten city finalists good luck tonight, along with all the other finalists.
