savor every taste every sip every note SEPTEMBER – euphoriagreenville.com
This year, we’ve curated a line-up that showcases more local, independently-owned restaurants and celebrates those who are truly passionate about the hospitality industry. We’ve renewed our focus on small businesses, the ones that may not always be in the spotlight, and all of the local artisans, chefs, mixologists, and hospitality enthusiasts who show up every day and work tirelessly to bring their craft to life.
While we are grateful for the chance to have renowned chefs like Daniel Boulud and Tyler Florence participate in the festival and host guest chef dinners last year, euphoria has always been an advocate for supporting local talent too. Now, more than ever, we must continue championing these local restaurants and showing our gratitude for their unwavering dedication to what they do. It is an honor and a privilege to present a festival schedule that showcases these passionate chefs, beverage professionals, and musicians.
From the Upstate chefs who’ve supported us from day one, to the chefs who step away from their Michelin-starred restaurants to participate in our festival, to the visiting chefs who travel to Greenville year after year, and the minority-owned restaurants that are participating for the first time we are truly grateful for each and every one of you. Your presence adds diversity and richness to our festival, and your passion and talent have shaped it into the extraordinary event it is today.
To the 100+ volunteers, partners, board & Producers Circle members, and countless hospitality employees who are dedicated to supporting euphoria we could not do this without you. Thanks to your ongoing support of our small nonprofit festival, we were able to fund projects for 7 local organizations, almost twice as many as last year! euphoria also had a $4.8 million economic impact over the course of the four-day festival in 2022. We are proud to be part of a community that works together to improve the quality of life for both the people who live here and those who choose to visit our fabulous city.
As we embark on another euphoria weekend, prepare to be captivated by culinary creations from chefs who pour their heart and soul into every dish. Delight your taste buds with beverages expertly crafted by passionate winemakers, bartenders, and mixologists. And let our talented musicians provide the soundtrack to a weekend filled with exceptional experiences and memories that stay with you long after the festival comes to a close.
Keep in mind that behind everything you eat, drink, see, and hear this weekend is a team of dedicated individuals working hard to create something truly remarkable for you. Take a moment to SAVOR - every bite, every sip, every noteknowing that countless hours of hard work and passion went into making it possible.
Cheers to 18 years!
Morgan Allen, euphoria Executive Director
We are beyond excited for the 18th installment of euphoria, where the magic of food, wine, and music come together to create an unforgettable experience.
Alexandra Rutland (Marketing & Hospitality Coordinator), Morgan Allen (Executive Director), Mary Frances McAlister (Event Coordinator)
Each year, euphoria shines a spotlight on this gem of a city we are proud to call home. As much as we love bringing newcomers here to get a taste of Greenville’s magic, we’re also committed to making a strong economic impact and giving back to the community in which our festival was built.
the history of euphoria
euphoria was founded in 2006 by platinum-selling singer/songwriter Edwin McCain and prominent Greenville restaurateur, Table 301’s Carl Sobocinski. Even before Greenville’s famed revitalization, the pair knew that our quaint city was something to be celebrated. McCain and Sobocinski wanted others to see this potential, too—and out of this desire, euphoria was born.
What started as a passion project has grown into a highly-anticipated food, wine, and music festival that shines a spotlight on Greenville’s thriving culinary arts scene while raising money to pour back into the community. From tasting events, guest chef dinners, and educational seminars held throughout the year—to our banner, four-day festival in September featuring Michelin dinners, exclusive food & wine tastings, cooking demos, and intimate, musical experiences— euphoria has become an integral part of Greenville’s tourism and hospitality industries, allowing locals and visitors alike to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the best of what the city has to offer.
euphoria’s mission has four main objectives :
• To promote tourism in Greenville, SC
• To create a destination event for food, wine, and music lovers across the country
• To highlight the culinary and music arts community of Upstate South Carolina
• To raise money to give back to the community
euphoria made a $4.8 million economic impact over the 4-day weekend in 2022!

As a volunteer with euphoria, you’ll be immersed in a weekend of influential chefs, beverage specialists, and industry enthusiasts, all while supporting a local non-profit that also makes a strong economic impact. It is September in the South, and the temperature is Carolina perfection. The setting sun dips into the horizon as craft cocktails go down. Though its venues have changed over the years—from Wyche Pavilion to The Barn at Sitton Hill Farm to this year’s locale at Greenbrier Farms—euphoria’s Sunday Supper remains a shoulder-grazing, golden-hour kind of magic.
It’s one of many notable events I’ve enjoyed at this premier festival. As a media professional and the former editor in chief of TOWN, I’ve been witness to euphoria’s evolution. What began in 2006 as a local food and music gathering to raise funds for local charities has evolved into a nationally renowned destination. As Greenville has grown, so has euphoria—though its original spirit, the brainchild of Greenville restaurateur Carl Sobocinski and singer-songwriter Edwin McCain, remains:
euphoria brings people together to help others live better.
There’s something about gathering like family. When food is shared and the drinks are flowing, perfect strangers become life-long friends.
And, truly, there is no better way to celebrate life. When you combine award-winning culinary artistry with your favorite people in a pinch-me setting, you come close to, well, euphoria. Heaven on Earth.
There have been a few standout moments in my euphoria history:
An early-years Taste of the South concert featuring Edwin McCain at Wyche Pavilion; a guest chef signature dinner at the erstwhile American Grocery Restaurant with chefs Joe Clarke and Katie Button, the James Beard Award nominee and rising culinary star based in Asheville, North Carolina. There was the Sunday Supper when I found myself sitting hip-to-hip with Chef Elliott Moss, another Asheville wunderkind famous for his translations of Southern cuisine.
Written by Blair Knobel
My first Seeing Stars Michelin dinner at Soby’s was a revelation. Because of Michelin’s proximity to Greenville, euphoria presents these stratospheric dinners called “Seeing Stars” because the Michelinchef menus are out of this world. One dinner at Avenue featured chefs Curtis Duffy and Val Cantu. I recall nearly every moment of this experience from 2019, which was important before the world shut down.
Of course, Songwriter’s Recipe and Feast by the Field have made their delicious rounds in my euphoria past.
This year, at Vine & Dandy, I’ll be picking flowers and picnicking on the bucolic Sassafras Farm. Then later, I’ll have Champagne and caviar with Michelin chefs Emma Bengtsson and Fredrik Berselius before their Scandinavian-inspired Michelin Experience dinner.
There will be new moments and memories to savor—until next year’s festival, that is.
Blair Knobel (pictured below on the left) is the founder and CEO of Knobel Media. Prior to founding Knobel Media, Blair was part of the founding team of TOWN, leading the award-winning publication for nearly a decade as its editor in chief. In 2022, she founded Vessel, a publication celebrating the distinctive stories of the evolving South.

All events are held rain or shine, and many Signature Events are outside, so please plan accordingly.
Ticket holders must be at least 21 years of age to attend all euphoria events—there are no exceptions. Please bring a valid form of ID to all events.
Tickets are non-refundable. Visit the euphoria Ticket Exchange to inquire about tickets to sold out events or sell general admission tickets to events that you can no longer attend. See page 9 for more details.
Can’t find your ticket? Visit the website FAQ page for help reprinting tickets. You can also download the SquadUP App to view all of your purchased tickets.

THE LEXUS RX
One of the reasons the Lexus RX is the most successful luxury crossover on the market is that we’ve never stopped improving it. It has evolved like never before with provocative lines, advanced technologies like available Tra c Jam Assist,* and the RX500h that ups the ante on RX performance. Discover a whole new world of possibility in the Lexus RX.
LEXUS.COM/RX *Tra c Jam Assist is not an automated driving system. The system requires driver supervision at all times and is designed to function on most controlled access freeways at speeds of 25 mph or less. Use this system in accordance with applicable laws. Before operating, refer to Owner’s Manual for additional instructions and limitations. ©2022 Lexus, a Division of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.
