A continuum can be described as a whole: while made up of many parts, the total continuum is always present. When we consider CJE’s Continuum of Care, it’s remarkable how apt this description is. For CJE is comprised of many programs and services—community-based and residential—that are intentionally developed to help people as they grow older.
CJE’s Continuum of Care has grown from very modest beginnings when trained staff approached older adults on park benches along the beachfront near Rogers Park. Nearly five decades later, the needs of our clients and residents have evolved dramatically … and we are still here … always seeking creative solutions to help the next generation of older adults.
