Can you teach a class? Host a discussion? Are you tech savvy? If so, we need you! Share your valuable skills with homebound seniors CJE SeniorLife needs facilitators and tech buddies to help bring our Virtual Senior Center (VSC) into the homes of isolated seniors. The VSC is an innovative program in which seniors actively participate in programs offered by CJE—and our partners from around the country— in the comfort of their own home. An easy-to-use touch-screen computer with built in webcam and microphone allows participants to access live interactive classes. To help deliver these programs, we need to fill the positions below with energetic, giving individuals.

Facilitators

You will host an interactive virtual class discussion with homebound seniors on a variety of different topics and interest areas. The more creative, the better! Some classes can even be taught from your own home or office!

Tech Buddies

You will be paired with homebound participants to help set-up, troubleshoot and provide support as needed. CJE will train Tech Buddies, but a moderate level of computer skills are necessary. Set-up will be needed at the participant’s home, but assistance can be provided over the phone or Internet.
