volunteers@cje.net v 847.929.3040 Welcome CJE’S New President & CEO Dan Fagin will join CJE next month with extensive experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as CEO of Cedar Village Retirement Community in Mason, Ohio. Cedar Village is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community with a mission similar to CJE’s mission— providing services and supports for older adults and their families. Dan is an excellent match for CJE. A Cincinnati native, Dan Fagin was COO of The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati from 2012-2015 where he developed a new shared service organization for Jewish communal agencies and congregations and launched SAFE Cincinnati, a Jewish community security and disaster planning initiative.
Dan’s 30 year prior experience also includes Managing Director and Healthcare Industry Leader for Protiviti Inc., Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Kettering Medical Center and Florida Hospital in managerial and information technology roles. Dan is a graduate of Indiana University, Kelley School of Business (BS, Finance) and Thomas More College (MBA).
Our new CEO said that he is “excited, honored and humbled to have been selected as the President and CEO of CJE, a highly-respected cornerstone in the Jewish community for over 45 years, with a great history of enhancing the lives of older adults. I am looking forward to being part of a strong team that lives its values every day by providing physical, emotional, social and spiritual help to those who need it most.” He understands the importance of volunteers and how volunteers enhance the lives of our residents and community members. —w—
