WHAT’S HAPPENING AT WEINBERG COMMUNITY By Jennifer Weininger, Executive Director
September 2019
A few reminders:
• Please sign in at the front desk, and sign out when leaving—we need to insist on this for the safety of our residents and staff. • Please obtain a form at the front desk when going out of town, and indicate an emergency contact for when you are away. • If your family member is in the hospital and will be going to a rehab facility, please advise us, to guarantee continuity of care. • If you have a private caregiver working for you, please make sure we are aware of this. We must follow our procedures for the safety of our community. Additionally, we will be rolling out our updated Private Duty Caregiver Handbook so please be on the look out for that! • Carts: New carts were purchased for your convenience. Please be respectful of returning them to the front desk in a timely manner for others to be able to use. Thank you! Staffing Updates

Interview with New Resident
We would like to give a warm welcome to our new resident, Muriel Berns! Muriel moved in early this month and is happy to be having such a smooth transition. She had a wonderful marriage for 60 years that gave her a son and daughter, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren! Some of her favorite memories with her husband were spending the winter months relaxing and enjoying each other’s company in Florida. An interesting fact about Muriel is that she an artist. She loves to knit and over the years has made a collection of beautiful shawls and sweaters. Please say hello when you meet her! High Holidays
