Dobama Theatre’s annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids’ Playwriting Festival. This coming school year, Greenfield will teach a creative writing course that includes playwriting. The teacher had no reservations about revealing his Oddy side to his students. “My stage persona and classroom persona are kind of the same,” he admits. Stepping back from OddyFest to focus on developing his students’ writing and to do “the domestic thing” with fiancée Weber suits Greenfield just fine. “The dream is … honestly, I’ve lived it,” he says. “I still am amazed looking at the list (of work) we’ve done (at OddyFest) so far. If none of these plays goes further, I’m happy with the work we’ve done.”
