Experts Speak Virtual animation to revolutionise education

Hello Frameboxxers!

Yunus Bukhari Art.Ery Animation Thirteen-fourteen years ago we could not find the right talent for our animation projects, but gradually the situation has changed and we are able to get the best animators from our young population. The revolution in digital technology however has yet to take routes in the country since there is so much work to be done in the fields of agriculture, defense, infrastructure that could really speed up the developmental process. More significantly the use of digital technology and animation, the virtual classrooms shall revolutionise the education sector in the country.

India is an important part... Sesha Prasad Rhythm & Hues Rhythem & Hues operates out of Los Angeles and entered India six years back with studios in Mumbai and Hyderabad, and we are engaged in creating visual effects for various national and international movies. India has become a very important part of our international operations because of the availability of good talent from within the country.

Quality of animators is critical factor C.B. Arun Kumar Pixion Pixion is one of the three largest companies in the country today engaged in post-production and rendering visual effects in films and television commercials. We are now setting up new 500-seat studio in Chennai where we shall be needing at least 1000 animators. There are exciting opportunities for the youngsters but quality of animators is the most critical factor for us.

Animation is about telling a story well Rohit Vaid Contiloe Films Contiloe Films is planning to produce at least 13-14 films primarily animated, in the next 3-4 years time. The latest production under completion is “Maha Yodha Rama” which is due for release soon which would be fun to watch as itis a contemporary rendition of the great epic. For us CG or visual effects is the way to tell a story well.

India is a Big Market. The fun’s just begun Nicholas Camecho Zoo Group India India has some of the finest animators in the world. Welcome aboard! Frameboxx has formally been launched and now it is time for all of us to pull up our socks and get ready to work real hard. The biggest challenge for all of us is to remain steadfast in our commitment to excellence in whatever we do, and be able to create a perfect ecosystem that can address the needs of the industry squarely. That requires consistently updating the curricula, interacting with the working professionals and the end-users so as to remain in touch with the changes impacting the industry, and the new technological up gradation which is driving our industry. We have lived up to the expectations of the industry in imparting the best training to our students, who now have a backing of the most respected and world-class animation studios to look forward to, to have their internships. And to our young animators, our request is that you will have to dedicate yourself to learn the art and skills of being the best artists since it is your creativity that is going to drive the trends in every possible field that could catapult India into a great incredible India. The extra ‘x’ in the name of our company denotes the next generation i.e. You. And at the same time, it also denotes the ‘x’ factor that each one of you are bestowed with. All you need is to look within, discover yourself, and give your best. Frameboxx itself denotes the opportunity for you to think “out of the box”, to think creatively, and create CG ‘frames’ that can, in the words of Rohit Vaid, “tell a story well”... after all “every frame counts”. So, go ahead...let’s just do it!

Frameboxx has signed up with Mr. Abhay Jain, a well known entrepreneur in the education domain of Indore. A BE in Computer Sciences, Abhay Jain belongs to a reputed industrialist family of Indore, but instead of joining the family business, decided to enter into training in English speaking. “I had encountered many difficulties in understanding English curricula during my engineering and found it to be a wide-spread problem amongst the students,” he says. Though he cleared his GRE with great score for further studies in USA, he decided against his family wishes, to stay back and help the youngsters and empower them by teaching them spoken English. Later Abhay added more divisions to cater to the needs of the society in accountancy, computer graphics, web designing, hardware training etc. “Animation is the growing field and my joining the Frameboxx would help me open up many new opportunities for the youngsters of Madhya Pradesh in making it big in their career in good studios,” he quips. We compliment Abhay Jain and ensure all success to his enterprise where he is totally committed to empowering the youngsters of his state.
