Piercing Through Legacy Renovation of Papar Sabah Railway Station Sabah State Railway is the chosen commercial building for the Final Year Project. The railway station design is interesting to explore. There are four main train stations of Sabah State Railway, but the chosen train station is Papar Railway Station, as the rest of the stations have been improved. This Papar railway station is chosen due to heavy combat between Australian and Japanese forces during WWII, bullets were driven at the building. The staff was first built out of wood, and was then demolished and replaced by a new concrete building in 2007. The problem with this project is that the building is not attractive and does not reflect the concept of heritage.
