Political science students

lash out

at board members

Story by Brian Baldwin

Shouting matches, interruptions and accusations. The only thing that set the Feb. 9 Board of Education meeting apart from the Jerry Springer show was its lack of a catfight, a bouncer named Steve and a stripper pole. During the meeting several students and community members said that the board may not be serving the students of Clackamas Community College to the best of its abvility. Several of them confronted the board on issues involving the responsibility for school debt and the availability to have a dialogue with all board members. There were also allegations of college president Joanne Truesdell displaying unprofessional behavior. Please see Unrest, Page 3
