Details of the working details
1.Computer provided 2.Other Conditions:Due to the immense cultural and environmental immersion of the trainees, each of them will be expected to pay $1,000 USD inclusive of breakfast, lunch and snacks, lodging, and other utilities that will be used for the duration of their stay. This payment will be utilized to promote the economic activity of Baclayon. Each trainee is expected to have their own tents (can also request the LC to lend them one)
Measurable results expected from the intern
- Marine Environment Program: Output for this program will be an updated marine species database/inventory and a report on the fish catch in Baclayon - Terrestrial Environment Program: Output will be an updated flora and fauna inventory and a publication on the terrestrial environment of Baclayon
Key learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship
Cultural immersion, on-site development work, and man-made and natural heritage preservation
Preparation required from the intern bef ore arrival
Read the volunteer guidebook and any book on tropical biodiversity; Bring tropical clothes, camera, binoculars and various trekking gears
Additional inform ation which a potential candidate may require for the internship
- Volunteers should bring pocket money for additional recreation activities they may want to do during their stay - Swimming and snorkelling experience is preferred
