MONOGR AM Monogram brief: This monogram includes several meanings. I wanted to make a unique monogram for my personalities. The “C” logo has two meanings which are creativity and my name Claire. Also, the main logo image has a blue pattern which represents blue ocean or diversity. The sun represents unique solutions. I am able to work with diverse people and various designers.

POSTER ENVIRONMENTAL PROTEC TION
BCIT Project - Poster design for the environmental protection.
MISSION This assignment is to create an advertisement campaign, that will strengthen your point of view, while communicating clearly why the reader should support your point of view. I researched, analysed, and designd a full page advertisement.
OUT COME I remembered a whale as a symbol of Vancouver, so I decided to use the image of a whale in my poster. I made a graphic with a whale, oil tank and splashed black oil images. The image stands as a warning sign about environmental degradation. The audience is more likely to be persuaded and work to save the environemt when they see the graphic image of a whale drowning in oil.

project 4 - Typography
T YPOGRAPHY INITIAL T YPOGRAPHY BCIT Project - Visulal compositing course’s typography experiments project.
MISSION This project taught me about typeface and how written laguage and its font can become a piece of art. I produced 30 different explorations of the letter K, using the same typeface in each exploration.
OUT COME I made various beautiful stuff which are made of initial “K” in my last name. The final product is a printed type book and the posters.

INDE SIGN PROJEC T S EDITING PROJECTS FOR ADVERTISEMENT BCIT Project - Poster design for the various companies’ campaign. InDesign project’s purpose is understand what good layouts are. And we leared how to use the program for the graphic design and editing.
COC A-COL A C AMPAIGN Poster design for the coca-cola company’s campaign. It represented that audience will realize purpose of the poster. Since the coca cola’s mascot is a polar bear, it makes sense to provide a charity to preserve the habitat of polar bears losing home due to the global warming.
SAMSUNG GALAXY Poster design for the Samsung Galaxy phone. The main color is bluish- green. The color coordination is meant to represent the modern and futuristic characteristics of Samsung technology.
LEVI’S Poster design for the Levi’s future clothes. The main color is navy blue which is blue jean’s color: the traditional color of urban wears.

MISSION
OUTCOME
This project is in curriculum of a BCIT design course. We learned how to use web grid and color formats. The advertisement is to let the potential audience know about this local event.
I chose the pure rock festival in Vancouver as my project. The resulting image is made of the strong colors and images. It looks more expressed of the rock festival.

BCIT Project - Museum of Vancouver event promotion Project. This assignment’s goal was to create a layout for a magazine advertising insert or direct mail piece to advertise an exhibition at the Museum of Vancouver.
OUTCOME I chose the 60 to 70’s exhibition event in the Museum of Vancouver
(MoV). The original poster and event Advertisement was not attractive

MENU ITALIANO PIZZA & WINE BCIT Portfolio Project: Menu design for an Italian restaurant. Logo design and menu editing. The black and pink color coordination is used for the strong color contrast.
MISSION This project is BCIT portfolio design courses’ project. We had to choose one of the restaurants. The text was provided for the projects.
OUTCOME I chose the Italian restaurant and I made logo and emblem images. Also, I designed background graphics. I wanted to make the hipster graphics for the audience.

FLY ER SC ANPAN ADVERTISEMENTS The series advertisement for the SCANPAN. It was a promoted sale event for the brand’s 60th anniversary. Also, the company need series advertisement.
MISSION
OUTCOME
This assignments is redesign an advertisement which lacks audience appeal. We had to find an advertisement and redesigned it.
I found the advertisement in our town mall. The original advertisement is not attractive for the audience. First, I changed the colors to create strong color contrast including red and black. Next, I created an image for the SCANPAN. It revolves around three themes such as fire, diamond, red circles that represents the pan. Ultimately, I have attempted to create a set of images that contrasts, and improves the original advertisement.
