Dr. Khuong Nguyen's Educational Background Dr. Khuong Nguyen began attending the University of California, San Diego, after graduating from high school in 1988. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1993. He attended dental school at the University of Southern California, also known as USC. He graduated in 1997 and immediately went on to complete an additional year of advanced education in general dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles, or UCLA. In order to help him work in the field he desired, he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, a teaching affiliate of the New York Health Science Center.
