Hi Key Club!

Congrats on finishing up your service hours for the MRP! I know that many members were working hard to meet the bronze, silver, or gold requirements to receive the MRP at DCON. I hope you were all able to accomplish your goals!

We have a nice amount of online service events prepared for February as well, including an ongoing event for Free Rice. Be sure to continue attending service events, even though the MRP is over! Our club still needs to reach our service hour goal and the category under Distinguished Club. Thank you for all of your participation thus far!

We are continuing with online service events and in-person club meetings this month. However, our February DCM will be held in-person! Be sure to RSVP before February 26th in order to attend this division event and make bookmarks for young readers.

I hope you enjoy this winter themed newsletter! I will be passing the torch to the next Newsletter Editor very soon, but I hope to be able to continue serving you next term in a different position. Best of luck to all of the officer candidates! Elections are on Monday, February 7th, from 4:30-6:30pm on Zoom.

Hey Scots!

I hope you all had a fantastic winter break! January was full of online events that many of you guys participated in. I know it is tough to go back online after such a fun semester in-person, but we promise that in-person events will return soon after COVID cases decline. But, we were still able to host over 6 events regardless!

This month I have a few more special announcements. First of all, a big thank you to everyone who came to our club elections on Monday, February 7th! I hope you all enjoyed listening to all of our candidates’ amazing speeches, and ongrats to Avirral Agarwal for winning the raffle.

We will also be hosting committee elections in early March, so be sure to stay involved if you want to apply for a leadership position as a committee chair or a committee members on one of our five committees (Service Project, Fundraising, Publicity/Communications, Members Develpment, and Social Events).

In February, we will continue with Valentine’s themed online events and start out transition to the new term. I hope to see you guys at our next club meeting OR service event.
