January SOSP: Children’s Miracle Network

What is Children’s Miracle Network?

What does SOSP stand for?

SOSP stands for Spotlight on service program. Every month we have a different organization that we direct our service projects towards.

Cards and Bracelets for Children’s Mriracle Network

Carlmont Key Club hosted an online service event for Children’s Miracle Network during January. Attendees created cards and bracelets for hospitalized children using a variety of materials. They also had the opportunity to meet new people in breakout rooms, and chat with other members!

Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for children’s hospitals in the US and Canada. They are an organization dedicated to helping hospitalized kids by funding hospitals, research, and families who can’t afford to pay for healthcare. Find your nearest CMN hospital to contribute.

Serving over 10 million kids in the US and Canada, CMN is able to donate to 172 hospitals that provide 32 million treatments per year for kids. By contributing to this organization’s goal, you are able to make a difference in the lives of a child, a family, and a healthcare facility.

In January, Carlmont Key Club hosted a service event dedicated to this organization and their cause. By making cards and bracelets for hospitalized children to receive, attendees were able to make a difference in their community and support the lives of children.
